LUX Urban Outfitters summer dress, sz. XS

I bought this dress on the Internet for a wedding last summer, but then got pregnant and haven’t been able to wear it since. It is in excellent condition and would be a great addition to any summer wardrobe (sorry about the photos – I didn’t realize how wrinkly the dress was until we started taking them). There is a lining on the inside to complement the exterior silk layer, which means there is no need to wear a slip underneath.

Measurements: 13.5" bust, 15 1/4" waist, 31” long

Asking: $20 + $5 shipping (don’t remember how much I paid)

1. What kinds of items can I list for sale?

The intention of the blog is to buy and sell designer, unique (i.e. handmade, one-of-a-kind) or vintage items of clothing and accessories rather than trendy, fast-fashion pieces. However, if a seller has something in new or excellent condition from stores such as H&M, Zara, etc, feel free to list it here.

2. How do I become a seller on this blog?

If you would like to become a regular seller, please contact us at thechicfriperie [at] gmail [dot] com and we will provide you with the administrative rights to create listings. If you have only a few items you would like posted, please send us the details (as outlined in guideline no. 2 above), and we will post the item(s) on your behalf.

3. What is a reasonable asking price for an item?

Generally speaking, if the item is new and unused, a discount of at least 30% from the paid price (not retail) would be reasonable. For articles which have been worn, a discount of at least 50% (depending on the item’s condition), should be offered. Ultimately however, it is up to the seller to decide what he/she is comfortable with.
