Banana Republic merino cardigan, sz. S

I bought this fine Italian merino wool cardigan several years ago because I thought I should add some softer colours to my wardrobe. Although this sweater the perfect weight for layering and also has a nice retro feel to it, I haven't worn this at all since I bought it. Lighter colours just aren't me.

Colour/material: subtle mint-coloured Italian merino wool with with rhinestone buttons

Size: petite small (but could fit regular small and probably medium)

Condition: worn maybe 3 times total

Paid: over $100

1. What kinds of items can I list for sale?

The intention of the blog is to buy and sell designer, unique (i.e. handmade, one-of-a-kind) or vintage items of clothing and accessories rather than trendy, fast-fashion pieces. However, if a seller has something in new or excellent condition from stores such as H&M, Zara, etc, feel free to list it here.

2. How do I become a seller on this blog?

If you would like to become a regular seller, please contact us at thechicfriperie [at] gmail [dot] com and we will provide you with the administrative rights to create listings. If you have only a few items you would like posted, please send us the details (as outlined in guideline no. 2 above), and we will post the item(s) on your behalf.

3. What is a reasonable asking price for an item?

Generally speaking, if the item is new and unused, a discount of at least 30% from the paid price (not retail) would be reasonable. For articles which have been worn, a discount of at least 50% (depending on the item’s condition), should be offered. Ultimately however, it is up to the seller to decide what he/she is comfortable with.
